Point of Rocks, West Port River

500.00

During a summer vacation in 2014, I loaded my easel in a canoe, and with Tara, paddled down to the mouth of the West Port River, a tidal estuary that empties into Buzzard's Bay.  We pulled the vessel onto the beach and used it to shield us from the wind blowing in from the Atlantic.  Traces of sand remain embedded in the oil paint, a palpable reminder of the day.

Oil on Canvas.
