36” x 48”, Oil Paint on Canvas over Panel , 2022. I have stood in a flooded Piazza San Marco and saw the sky reflecting everywhere on the ground. In this work the shapes of gothic Venice partially emerge through the accumulated paint and contrast with the smoother green sky flowing into the ground.
