The love of the brush defines the contours of Mike Serafino’s life. He came to New York City to study at School of Visual Arts (BFA 2008) and doubled down on art education at Brooklyn College (MFA 2020). He has exhibited in dozens of shows, sold into numerous private collections, learned to paint fresco in Paris, worked as a live painter for corporate entertainment, made watercolors from Yosemite to Shanghai, and traded in a stable life for one that embraces curious artistic pursuit. He looks forward to the continuing obscurity for the decades to come. Mike lives and works in Brooklyn, NY with a few animals.
